OUR STORY

Robinson's Custom Woodworking was founded over 30 years ago by John and Vera Robinson, who built the business on a love of craftsmanship and a respect for history. Today, the business is still located right here in Sunbury, Pennsylvania. John and Vera remain active owners of the shop, working alongside the next generation of the family — Brice and Jessica Landis, along with their children Grace and Gavin who are helping carry their tradition forward.

WHAT WE DO

We're best known for our custom post office door banks — miniature safes built using authentic doors salvaged from historic post offices and university buildings before they're lost for good. Each one preserves a piece of history while giving it new life as a functional, beautiful piece for your home or office. Beyond our signature banks, we design and build custom furniture, cabinetry, and made-to-order pieces for clients who want something they can't find anywhere else.

Every bank that leaves our shop is truly a family effort. Each of us brings our own specialty to the process, and we all take turns handling the customer-facing side of the business — so whoever you talk to, you're talking to family.
